Organiztions need strong leaders that have the ability to manage.  I am a stronger leader than I am a manager but have been learning how to manage people while leading them.

Leaders are natural and can be refined.  I do not believe that leadership can be taught.

The biggest takeaway for me from this topic is that management and leadership aren't opposing styles—they are complementary skill sets. Early on, it’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking "managing" is purely transactional and "leading" is superior. In reality, a visionary leader without strong managerial systems creates chaos, while a meticulous manager without leadership vision creates stagnation. The key is recognizing which hat to wear and when.
