Comment on Bobbet Mullings's post: I agree with you.  In addition to generating opportunities for individuals to dream and share their dreams. Appreciative inquiry can establish an environment where individuals feel able to choose how they contribute. It can provide both direction and support for action.

Self-regulation skills are super important in the workplace because they help one stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, handle conflict, and make better decisions.

Comment on Monica Gonzalez's post:

I concur, Monica. I also found it interesting that the largest percentage of the population are kinesthetic learners. It makes sense because this learning style naturally incorporates elements of both visual and auditory learning. Ultimately, the goal of learning is application, and we tend to retain knowledge best when we actively put it into practice.

Comment on Bobbet Mullings's post: I agree - Great leaders listen with their eyes, ears, and hearts. By paying attention to both spoken and unspoken messages, we better understand our teams and can empower them to reach their full potential. When people feel seen, heard, and supported, they become high-performing contributors.

Awareness of my leadership legacy will guide intentional growth and decision-making.

Comment on Frank White's post: I learned about undermatching and its impact on graduation rates. I plan to share this with the admissions team so they can critically review applicants and better assess their potential for success from the outset

I learned a lot about leadership. While each part of the leadership framework is important on its own, true effectiveness comes when all three are aligned and working together toward the same goal.

A leader’s style must be dynamic, adapting to both the situation and the needs of their followers in order to achieve the best possible results.

I have learned that the core tenets of leadership provide a clear pathway to achieving results. While there are various paths to leadership, it is essential to know what we want, provide clear direction, build trust, and foster hope among staff in order to achieve the best outcomes.

Leading by example - Pacesetting is my preferred style.  I want my team to know that set goals are achievable, and let's get it done.  I also want to allow my team members the chance to develop and realize their full potential.
