One of the biggest things I have learned from my Essentials of Teaching course is the importance of strategically planning and being creative when developing my classes. I have learned that researching new topics and finding different ways to engage students can make learning more meaningful. I also see the value in accepting feedback and learning from other professionals and instructors at the college. By sharing ideas and learning different approaches, I can continue to improve how I plan, organize, and teach my classes. Overall, this course has shown me that effective teaching is an ongoing learning process
