Activity

Using the seven principles we are able to provide an engaging, supportive online learning environment where both instructors and students share success.

Making sure students are prepared for on-line learning, even if it is as simple of copy, paste.

Making sure students realize that you care about their learning outcome.

Preparation is key. Making sure students are aware of learning objectives and outcomes. Open communication and developing a good support system.

Blogging empowers students by giving them a voice and encouraging them to express their ideas and reflect on their learning.

Microblogging can be used to communicate with students, share resources, and encourage class discussions.

Media hosting and sharing platforms can enhance online learning by supporting collaboration, communication and student engagment.

Social Media is a way of teaching students to use it as a tool.  Responsible online behavior, digital professionalism, and protecting personal and employer information are all great ways for students to build their professional brand.

portfolios and badges are a great idea
