In this module I learned that rubrics help set clear expectations and support fair assessment of online communication. I currently use them to evaluate discussions and other assignments. 

I agree that silence can be excruciating in the online classrom. Generations although different musy al still adhere to the same guidelines and procedures.

Civility is very important for clear communication within the online learning enviornment. Setting clear expectations and boundaires is key for nurturing and supportive communcation. 

There are many tool available for instructor /student interactions. Being versed in them all including pros and cons is key.

I learned that successful learning depends on strong organization, active participation and effective time managment. To support student success, I plan to provide clear guidance, consistent communication and ongoing encouragment to help students stay engaged and on track toward their goals. 

Using social networking platforms can help students feel more engaged, connected and supported throughout their learning experiences. As educators we must also be dynamic and adaptable using a variety of tools and approaches to foster meaningful interaction and build a strong online learning commmunity. 

Providing clear and concise communication is essential to student success as it help students understand expectations and stay engaged in thier learning. When communication is timely, supportive and easy to understand, students feel more confident and empowered to achieve thier goals. 

The importance of flexibility, patience and meaningful communication. Every student comes to the virtual classroom with unique strenghts and challenges and responisbilities often balancing work and home life. Building relationships through consistent support and encouragement helps students feel connected and motivated. Clear expectations and timely feedback play a cirtical roll. 

I learned more about the performance criteria using a 5 point scale. 

Reliability and validity are both important when creating assessments. They are both important when I am making informed decisions based on my studetns assessment outcomes.
