I liked keeping the "participation" portion of grading out and grading on their actual knowledge and learning.  I learned that it was very important to keep an update gradebook and grade things in a timely manner. 

1. Not being understanding or aware of their student's schedules and problems outside of class, and offering zero leniency. 
2. Moving on from a subject without making sure all students understand the lesson. 
3. Being late or unprepared for a class. 

What are you currently doing to keep students on subject when the lessons are online and they have access to the internet and apps during instructional time? 

I learned that it is important to be aware of our student's background knowledge and their understanding of the current material before moving forward. 

I learned that presenting valid materials help the students retain the material they are learning.  I also learned that it is better to be creative, use colors, and graphics to make the students more interested in the material. 

I learned that staying prepared and organized is noticed by the students.  It not only helps them learn, but helps to earn and maintain respect.
