About me

I am a seasoned professional with a wide range of experience in various industries, including entrepreneurship and senior technical leadership. My experience in information systems technology spans over 20 years, and I have a solid background in management and computer network engineering. My professional skills include computer science, big data, database systems, data and statistical analytics, networking, IT consulting, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and business intelligence, leadership, and organizational management.

I have over 20 years of service in higher education that complements my industry experience. I held a number of senior academic and administrative leadership positions during this time, including Dean of Business and Accounting and Director of Network Security & Business Administration.

I hold two Bachelor of Science degrees (Mechanical Engineering and Computer Information Systems), a master's degree in Management, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration (specialized in Management Information Systems). I also served as a reviewer for management, business administration, and accounting courses for major academic publishers such as McGraw-Hill and Pearson Hall.

I have a background as dean of business and director of IT networking, security, and business administration, managing multi-campus operations. My professional experience includes working for top organizations such as Lockheed Martin, where I was a software engineer; Chrysler Corporation, where I was an IT manager; and Andrulis LLC, where I was a hardware/software configuration engineer.

What I’ve learned and how I’m using it.
One of the greatest lessons I have learned from this course is the importance of being intentional and reflective in my teaching practice. It’s easy to fall into a rhythm of creating content, delivering it, grading it, and moving on, but this module reminded me that real growth happens when you step back and look at why you do things the way you do.

One thing this module really emphasized was that revising a course is not a one-time thing; it’s a cyclical process that will happen over and over again. What I learned The best way to improve is to constantly evaluate how well each element of a course meets the learning objectives, identify gaps, and make intentional changes based on student performance, feedback, and updates to best practices. One valuable takeaway was the idea that course quality grows through ongoing refinement, not major overhauls.
