I learned to stay professional, avoid giving unnecessary information, choose my words carefully, and respond with facts based only on what I know to be accurate.

I learned that maintaining accurate and organized student records is essential. It is also important to be responsive during an onsite visit and, when you don’t have an immediate answer, to get the correct information as quickly as possible.

I learned how important it is to stay prepared at all times so we can clearly demonstrate the work we do and our commitment to supporting our students.

The module emphasized the value of maintaining consistent processes and staying prepared for an audit at all times. When compliance is part of our regular daily routine, site visits become much easier to manage and less stressful.

It also reinforced that providing an accurate understanding of the program's expectations and curriculum helps students make informed decisions and can reduce the likelihood of them withdrawing after enrollment.

Considering factors such as credentials, licensing, teaching and clinical experience, workload, and student needs allows institutions to make balanced decisions and maintain high-quality instruction.

I learned that online instructors perform best when they have clear expectations and meaningful performance standards. Effective evaluations should focus on student engagement and overall instructional quality rather than only routine tasks. Ongoing professional development, regular feedback, and annual evaluations are also important for helping faculty strengthen their teaching and improve student outcomes.
