I learned what an accommodation is and how to accommodate those with learning disabilities. Instead of changing a whole assignment or making it "easier," I can change the way I teach it. 

I learned that people with disabilities may need special accommodations and way to reach those accommodations. 

Not all disabilities are evident but everyone with a disability should be treated equally.

I've learned not to overthink what I'm doing and to be prepared for the lecture. I also know that mistakes will happen but not to get to worried about them but to learn from them and keep going. 

I learned how to approach students who display disruptive behaviors. 

This section helped me understand that the challenging students may not understand or see the need for the content so they need to be redirected. 

I learned I need to redo my syllabus to make my expectations more clear so the students will know what to expect. That was really helpful to me. 

I learned to use multiple style questions instead of just using multiple choice questions to gain insight on the students' knowledge of the material. 

I learned that I do not need to say "any questions" when I am done teaching a lesson. I also learned that I need to call on a student before posing a question to cut down on choral responses. 

Students need to understand what is expected of them. I also learned that there must be some form of technology incorporated into the classroom in order for this generation of childeren to succeed. I will also try to use more interactive tools for teaching and take more breaks during my lecture.
