Several points need to be included in a good rubric. These include: des the criteria reflect the objectives of the course, are the decriptives well stated and fair, and does the rubric allow for feedback to let the student know what was well done and what needs improvement.

A lot must be considered when desgining a rubric.It must contain all of the nexessary content of the assignment, must be understandable and clear, must be practical and must be fair for all students. Building a rubric is an ongoing process and continually needs to be accessed and revised.

Self and peer-assessment may be a valuable tool to help students evaluate their work as well as the work of peers. Detailed feedback and time to self reflect are important parts of the learning process.

There are different types of rubrics including: holistic, analytic, general and task-specific. While necessary, rubrics can have sme disadvantages which include the fact that they can be time-consuming, can limit creativtity, and artistic work may be difficult to access using a rubric.

I realize the importance of designing activities/assignments with a variey of options in order to accommodate students of varying TC types. This allows students to meet the course objectives with assignments that more closely match their personality.

I never before realized the impact of the instructor's personality or the student's personality and how this can effect learning. It's important to realize the True Color(s) of your personality and this may impact a student's perception of you and the course. 

In this section I learned more about the 4 true colors and how each represents a specific personality type. I'm intersted to learn why each specific personality trait is linked to that specific color.

There are various theories of personality including: Hippocrates, Jung's Keirsey's Myer-Briggs,a nd True Colors. Personality type can definitley affect learning styles which woudld be optimal for a particular student. 

I learned the importance of helping students with time management, reviewing their assignments, estimating how long each assignment will take and setting up their calendar to complete all work on time....the benefit of not procrastinating.

I was reminded of the importance of technology tools and checking with students regardng their skill level in using technology necessary to do well in an online course.
