HI Timothy- Fine tuning our delivery to address the various learning styles takes some additional effort but as you say, it makes your classroom "an environment for learning". Keep up the great work! Best wishes- Susan
Wow Bill- not many teachers are so proactive! You are giving your students really valuable information about themselves that will be useful for their entire lifetime - excellent work! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan
Hi Timothy-Your plan to use CATs in your classroom is right on! I hope that you find them to be a useful addition to your teaching skills. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan
Hi Nancy - Do you find that you have diverse skill levels in your computer classes? If so, how do you handle that? This is a problem we see a lot. Students who are quite proficient in class with beginners. Thanks for your post to the forum! Susan
HI Nancy - Thanks for your post to the forum. Team projects are great for inspiring confidence. What sort of projects do you assign? Best wishes - Susan
Hi Marion - Thanks for your post to the forum. I find that if I mix delivery styles in my classes my students are constantly being acclimated to syles other than their dominant one. So, for example, I may have a tactile learner and I will lecture but at the same time pass around a related object or have the student demo something as I lecture. Best wishes! Susan
Hi Patricia- Almost everyone can learn to adapt to various styles. Your question about how soon children can do this is interesting and I will do some research to see if anyone has looked at this. I'll get back to you asap! Best wishes- Susan
Hi Cathryn- Thanks for your post to the forum! Quizzes should ideally be very short which makes them easy to create and grade. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan

Hi Renee- I agree completely! Students have to be able to read and write and use at least basic math no matter what career they are preparing for. Susan
