Hi Juan - Thanks for your post to the forum. You are obviously doinga great job at keeping your students on track! I absolutely agree that when assigning projects a clear and specific grading rubric is absolutely necessary. Best wishes- Susan
Hi Richard- You obviously see a lot of kinesthetic students and I agree it can be a challenge to get the theory/concepts material across. We just nee to try to vary our delivery as much as possible. Best wishes- Susan
Hi Marion - Thanks for your post to the forum. Your daily evalaution of clinical performance provides excellent immediate feedback - great work! Best wishes - Susan
HI Diana- I really liked that explaination to your students! Best wishes- Susan
HI Diana - Thanks for sharing the summary of your assessment choices. You are using an effective mix. Best wishes- Susan
Hi Juan - Thanks for your post to the forum. I'm sure that when you have a class full of kinesthetic learners they would have a tendancy to just "go for it"! Having the rubric on hand, they will be aware of what they are being graded on and must therefore be able to document. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career! Susan
Hi Trudy- Thanks for your post to the forum. Your assesment choices are excellent! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career! Susan
HI Kerry - Wow - you have said it all!! That is exactly why every instructor has got to insist on certain standards in writing and communication skills in EVERY class. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career! Susan
Hi Angela- Thanks for your post to the forum. You're correct, if you make a concerted effort to teach to all the learning styles you will definitely find that you do not need to "re-teach" as often. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career! Susan
HI Wardell- As probably the most un-creative person ever, this is a challenging question! The best suggestion I can come up with is to ask those students if they can come up with works/pieces done in different mediums that can then be adapted to the digital mode.Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan
