I learned some important information in this course including:

1. The importance of creating a safe, fun and relaxing environment.
2. Establishing a supportive environment conducive to learning and promoting student success.

The importance of classroom preparation such as:

1. The importance of preparing for class such as keeping checklist when teaching to insure that all  pertinent content is covered.
2. The appropiateness of the learning environment should be inviting, comfortable and conducive to learning.

Managing the e-learning environment is important and there are multiple items that should be considered for documentation purposes such as behavior management of difficult learners and what needs to be include in the documentation.

From this  module, I learned:

1. Strategies to minimize student attrition.
2. Challenges to managing the e-learning environment.

I learned the importance of establishing relationships with students early on and the importance of the student-professor relationship. I feel that posting something about my experiences and education might give students an assurance that I am able to provide them with current evidence based knowledge leading to their success in within their chosen profession.

This course emphasizes the importance of understanding the CMS and of knowing components such as posting grades, course announcements and reviewing the gradebooks. There are situations that arise that IT can manage, however, the instructor is a key player in assuring that receive the content necessary for success.
