Technology helps prepare students for both the classroom and the salon environment. With these skills students are able to complete online theory, submit videos of practical skills, research beauty topics, collaborate with classmates, and practice time management and communication skills.

I learned that strong relationships, empathy, and a positive classroom environment are key to student success and retention. I will apply this by creating a welcoming classroom, communicating openly, showing empathy, and responding to students needs in a timely manner.
