I learned that maintaining a Resource Notebook with up-to-date information is essential for admissions representatives. It emphasizes gathering knowledge from various departments, industries, and regulatory bodies to stay informed and credible. I would apply this by actively seeking input from staff, monitoring industry trends, and keeping track of licensing and accreditation requirements. This approach ensures I can confidently answer questions from prospective students, provide accurate guidance, and demonstrate professionalism while supporting student success and institutional credibility.

From this module  learned that students services are often important as educational programs, and that as an institution it is important to have marketing and advertising strategies and also have a document with the different programs the institution has such as bachelors and associates, occupational associate degrees, diploma programs, certificate programs, continuing education, test preparation courses, and avocational courses, this way the student is well informed about the institution and its programs.

I learned that it is important for the admissions process to follow clear rules and regulations to ensure fairness and transparency on this process. I also learned the importance of understanding admissions requirements, enrollment agreements, financial aid, and institutional policies so that students receive accurate information and can make good and informed decisions before enrolling.

I learned that it is important to understand the Admissions Staff Training Program, it is importan so I can be able to enroll qualified students in our program. It is important to know the rules that are required by the Florida Comission of Independent Education that will affect me. All of this is important to determine if this is the right fit between the student and the institution.
