Lesson plans are a great guide to help you deliver the material in an orderly fashion.  They are also a great resource for planning when you are teaching the course multiple times.

prestest are helpful to assess where students are at fcoming into the class.  Also a discussion using good find out questions can help assess prior knowldge.

Having a straight foward policy and communincating it at the begining of the class will help both the student and me as the teacher, understand grading expectations.

I have learned that having a plan b is good to have in place and also that watching the students body language can tell me if they are getting it or not.

Revising the powerpoints to the 10-20-30 rule will help with my presentation

I have learned that being prepared for class is a good way to show respect for your students.

i have learned that there is usually a reason for some students to be acting out and not be so quick to judge them.  

Trauma is real and it is important as an educator to recognize it and help when needed.

i have learned to recognize what some of the triggers are in my students.
