I learned how different personality types can maintain and build meaningful connections. It is important that learners understand that these connections are not a selfless act (transactional), but truly build valuable networks (relational) to ensure longevity and deeper connection.

I learned the different methods and best practices for networking, both outbound and inbound. The material learned can help students start to have these conversations that guide them throughout their career.

In this module, I learned about how identifying different networking goals can help one meet their career goals. I plan to apply these with learners to help them start thinking about their long-term goals, and who they can reach out to to acheive them.

I learned about the different types of networks and ties that make an effective network pool. I plan to apply this module to break down examples on how my student's different network ties play a factor in their career development.
