I learned to assess each adult student to tailor activities to they're knowledge level. This will keep students engaged and create a sense of responsibility for the most advanced students to help their teammates.

I learned to use all six levels of human cognition in teaching plans to improve balance between facilitator and scholar.

This module taught me to be balanced between what I know and what I impart. Treating each student as an individual with a unique approach may be the best approach.

I have learned to develop two roles as an instructor and combine them into a one; that of a coach. 

I learned to break lectures to less than 15 minutes and reduce instructional steps to less than 7. This is helpful because the goal is for students to gain knowledge, even if in small increments.

Introducing oneself matters because others can learn more about you and connect in one way or another. This connection can create a cohesive group.

I learned a syllabus is an agreement between student and instructor, which lays out expectations and outcomes.

This course has taught me the qualities to model for my own advancement as an instructor but also how those qualities will help with student success. I intend to apply these standards in my life in general, not just as an instructor.
