Introducing oneself matters because others can learn more about you and connect in one way or another. This connection can create a cohesive group.

I learned a syllabus is an agreement between student and instructor, which lays out expectations and outcomes.

This course has taught me the qualities to model for my own advancement as an instructor but also how those qualities will help with student success. I intend to apply these standards in my life in general, not just as an instructor.
