Activity

It is important to not be blind to cultural differences because when we acknowledge them we can do a better job of teaching and including all students.

In this course, I learned to take notes on what aspects of demonstrating skills went well and what students needed improvement on so that each subsequent demonstration and evaluation can go more smoothly.

I learned that the first day is crucial in helping the students feel like I am competent and prepared for them, and that it also gives me an opportunity to provide a feeling of comfort and confidence to students who will understand what is expected of them and how we will get there.

I learned the importance of coming to class early and having clear objectives to help the students understand what is expected of them.
