I learned that the syllabus is like the backbone of the course that you are teaching, it gives the students everything that you expect from them.

I have learned that being professional is more that just being and playing the role of instructor. It is about showing the students how to be professional by wearing the proper uniform, your attitude, your demeaner and arriving on time to class. You are not just the instructor, you are giving the students a role model for your particular field.
