I found that it is beneficial for the student and the school to encourage the students by mapping out the assignment and giving them access to reach out for further assistance. This lowers drop out rates and increase student rentention.

I have learned that a video message instead of an email introduction may be more effective when introducing a new topic to online students. 

Using technology correctly has been a game changer for online students. Knowing the correct ways to cite information, complete research assignments, and time management all aid in the success of the student’s ability to properly retain new information.

I enjoyed learning about the applied empathy approach while dealing with students by seeing yourself in their shoes.
