Students need to feel comfortable which helps to enhance their learning experience. Learning their names implies care. Developing a relationship and creating an environment of trust of trust facilitates learning.

I have learned to come in early, prepare, and to plan. Have a check list prepared to stay on track.

In the spirit of the law everyone has a right to equal opportunity. An accommodation levels the playing field. It will be very interesting to watch civil liberties that will be dismantled under the current administration. Currently, civil rights and other protections under the law, are being dismantled; this can extend to people and populations with disabilities.

FERPA protects students' educational records and their right to their records.
