The first thing that I do from the beginning, is make the student comfortable with the idea of taking student loans, I talk to them about the importance of taking a student loan if needed and at the same time, we discuss repayment.  During our discussions, I encourage students who needs loans to remember the responsibility of repayment, while reminding them that this is a bill and must be budgeted and paid.

It's important for students to understand their rights and responsibilities.  Communicating with students along the way, educating them on financial aid by reminding them that there are options in repaying loans as well as postponing payments if needed.

Professional relationships is a good tool when becoming familiar with students, it is important to be a counselor when needed.

Updating students information as often as possible is important for skip tracing if needed.

I have learned a lot about office appearances, and that it is good to reiterate the importance of Default Management and placing Financial Aid information throughout the school.

I have learned that efficency, while providing good customer service is possible. We can have quality, and quantity.

It is good to know that after several years in this business, the rules haven't changed, the professionals have.  I beleive in 100% customer service to be given to all.  The admissions rep. brings in the student, FA closes by presenting their awards package in a timely manner, and good customer service.
