I learned that while credits may transfer to or from an institution, it is not guaranteed that they all or any of them will transfer and it is up to the income institution to decide

I learned that it is important for the rep to understand the program and classes that are being offered as well as how the school is marketing those programs

I learned that it is critical to follow all of the admission process and to make sure "paperwork" is filled out correctly

I’ve learned the definitions and now have a solid understanding of why this training is essential

Building an effective team requires a blend of diverse personalities, each contributing unique strengths, perspectives, and approaches. It is essential to intentionally manage and support these differences so that every team member feels valued and understands how their contributions impact the group’s overall success. When personalities are acknowledged and aligned toward common goals, the team becomes more cohesive, collaborative, and high‑performing.

It is essential to cultivate a collaborative team environment grounded in open and honest communication. Establishing clear expectations—including shared responsibility for both the team’s successes and its setbacks—strengthens accountability and cohesion. Additionally, it is important not to shy away from constructive conflict. When managed appropriately, healthy conflict ensures that diverse perspectives are voiced, valued, and integrated into better decision‑making.

I have come to understand that communicating effectively across generations is far more nuanced and complex than one might initially assume. Each generation possesses distinct values, communication preferences, and expectations. Developing the appropriate communication style not only enhances understanding but also yields significant benefits in engagement, collaboration, and overall effectiveness.

I’ve learned that each generation is unique, and today’s students show a particularly strong interest in pursuing higher education. I plan to incorporate this insight into my classroom presentations to encourage students to think more intentionally about their post‑secondary opportunities and the long‑term benefits of continuing their education.
