About me
I'm a Cosmetology Instructor. I have been teaching since 2015. I'm enjoying the learning experience I've been having during these past years. I have been a licensed Cosmetologist since 2005! As much as I enjoy teaching students working at the hair salon is the best for me! Now, with all the changes the Covid19 pandemic has left us with, I find myself, learnign about teaching online and I'm exited to learn as much as possible to keep helping cosmetology students get the best education possible.
Activity
collaborative learning is essential in a class to help the student really understand the subject and elevate their learning experience whether is at a class room setup or online class.
the high percentage of students with disabilities and the many obstacles face by these students is big.
I really need to focuos on the three principles of best practice. I need to do more for my students that what I'm already doing!
in order to make the correct changes when revising your course it is essential to have multiple resouches and multiple methods as part of the new changes.
I learn the importance of student asessment as well as how crucial is providing feedback to students to help their learning process. Now, proving the correct feedback is even more important.
Consistency is crucial! I'm planning on communicating as much as possible with my team in order to deliver the context with a nice flow for the students.
