Ask a question from your peers to help you in your professional work. Seek different points of view on a topic that interests you. Start a thought-provoking conversation about a hot, current topic. Encourage your peers to join you in the discussion, and feel free to facilitate the discussion. As a community of educators, all members of the Career Ed Lounge are empowered to act as a discussion facilitator to help us all learn from each other.

Introduce Yourself Here

Hi Dr. Erbas,

It's nice to meet you, and I look forward to our collaboration!

My name is Dr. Christina. I was born in Colorado and grew up in New Mexico and moved to Indiana 25 years ago. I am an associate professor at Indiana University Kokomo where I teach education methods courses in our Division of Education. One of my favorite countries to visit is the United Kingdom, and specifically, Scotland. I lived and worked in Scotland when I was 18 years old as an auxiliary nurse. I decided to one day conduct research there. Now, I have a longitudinal qualitative study in Dundee, Scotland that has spanned from 2022 until now.

I think one of the aspects that makes me unique as a professor is my responsiveness in communication to students and colleagues. Most times, I respond to emails the same day and oftentimes within an hour.
