  Getting Career Ready - Cosmetology


 Description of program
Cosmetology is the science that deals with beautifying and improving the complexion, skin, hair, and nails. At Gadsden City High School, cosmetology is a four-semester program. Students who do not complete the full four-semester program before graduation will need to complete additional training after high school. After completion of all basic theory and performance tasks, students are eligible for State Board Examinations.
