I really enjoyed the Effective Learning Strategies course offered on OACCS.  Just when you thought that you had done it all or applied it all, the right resource comes along and adds something else useful  to your instructional style.  Of the many lessons that were taught, I believe that I will be using the idea of giving the class a simple concise pretest. This  will give me an early idea of how knowledgable the students are in the subject matter that I'm teaching.
