I just took ED104. I really liked the short videos from the Harvard educators. I think I'll incorporate this strategy into my writing classes. I'm going to look for some brief video snippets to watch in class and then ask students to summarize highlights/content in a brief paragraph. I also liked the idea of electing a class "observer" who can share the big "take away points" at the end of class with everyone. What a great way to involve students & also make sure that we're sticking to our course objectives! 

I agree with you about the ED104 class. It gave me more insight into the student and types of students. All of the students they talked about were very real and I could relate with each description of them. I also like the video's and the statement about ambiguity .Peg
