Video taping lectures

Over all courses are well presented and good improving techniques are given. And knowing about students diabilities in learning, reading and writing and in comprehension is very helpful and how can theh be helped.

I am curious as to whether other Instructors have had success with video lectures? I am involved in helping students with internships in their field, but some of them are interested in interning out of state. The way our program currently stands, an internship out of state is difficult. However, the idea of video taping the class on campus that they have to take along with the internship class has been brought to the table. Any thoughts?

I have not had my lectures videotaped. I assume it is helpful for audio and visual learners. It can help them to retain the information by it being available at their fingertips.

I have had my lectures video recorded. I have gotten very positive responses form students. This is very helpful in the the topics which have a practical component allowing the students to watch the lesson several times
