Help to be a better instructor.
Although alot of the information presented in the classes was not new to me, it was a great refresher. It brought new ideas to the forefront and served as a tool for me to re-evaluate my style and how I interact with students and new ideas on how to handle problems.
Keeping detailed notes of previous classes taught helps me to identify my strenghts and weakness. Also feedback from students.
I do not have traditional education degree,I teach in a career orientated school,this is a very good way to learn and earn,I am glad that we are given this opportunity to better ourselves in what we do every day.the discussion board, the blog ,all are very good ways to communicate with others who have a common interest.
I enjoy receiving feedback from students. This lets me know where I need to improve and where I should stay consistent with how I am instructing.
