ED102

I think one of the best axioms that can be espoused was found in this course, i.e. “You don't have to be perfect; you just have to be yourself.” Whereas we may have high expectations of our students , they and we are just human and the learning environment should be centered around that truism. Sometimes we and our administrative staff hold expectation that creates tension and unease which can be easily transferred into the classroom. It’s difficult enough being an instructor without any additional pressures. We should keep in mind all of our expected and numerous roles of presenter, guide, coach, facilitator, designer, evaluator, manager, and leader. In the words of Clint Eastwood, “A man’s got to know his limitations!”,  and simply unburden ourselves from unrealistic expectations.
