ED109

This was a good course to help understand the importance of lesson plans. There are publisher lesson plans out there which can be used, but it's a good idea to personalize them to match student needs and learning styles, as well as the instructor's individual teaching style. Outcomes need to be measurable and reflect the objectives of the course and standards for the field.

Agreed it is important to have a well designed lesson plan in order to be an effective instructor. As an instructor it is important to remain open to additional opportunities for each class as the dynamics of each class changes from semester to semester.

Over all I feel this was a good course as well. Though some of this information is repeated over again through most of the ED101 to ED110  courses. I dont have to write lesson plans at my school, this is because the school provides us with them. I am allowed to modify the lesson plans to better fit what i need to cover in class.

I found this course to be very informative to me as well. It was helpful as a reminder that we can incorporate different teaching styles to keep our students engaged. Using our resources will help lesson planning to be more effective and exciting for the students.
