I totally understand where you are coming from. I find that being in the field as a clinical instructor, that the dynamic is a little different then in a classroom setting. Yes, there are  course syllabi handed out that give them a breakdown of what this course involves. The hard part of being an infield teacher is the hands on approach to applying there classroom knowledge into working knowledge and practice. Having them understand that all that they have done through the years has prepared them for this moment of applying the skills and the book knowledge and hopefully landing themselves a job. Sometimes the lights click on and for others it takes longer. So, having a centralized classroom would be ideal but its like training them to be out in the wild with basic survival skills. i would have wished and hoped that the benefit of basic curriculum planning would have given me more ideals in keeping them more engaged. And not just feeling like they are auditioning in a blacked out theater.
