<p>I agree.&nbsp; I do not award extra credit.&nbsp; I feel it allows the student to slack off on the subject matter they are not interested in knowing that they can make up the points doing an assignment on something they may prefer.&nbsp; This is not the case in the real world.&nbsp; At work you have to do your best at all the aspects of your job,&nbsp; not just the ones you like.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I see much better results in&nbsp; all assignments when extra credit is not offered.</p>
