I've learned that it is very important to know the areas in which compliance is measured. Keeping good records and staying organized is highly effective and important year round. Or even maybe having a list of each departments main audit components can help. Although things can change depending on the situation having each departments basics clean and organized would help immensely. Making sure to keep up to date with all state regulation as well will help to make sure everything is up to date with any possible changes rather updated or outdated.
