Today I was reminded that there can be many reasons for a campus visit, including routine reviews, compliance monitoring, employee concerns, or student complaints. Regardless of the reason, one thing remains the same: being prepared is always the best approach.
As we discussed in previous lessons, creating an environment where both staff and students feel heard and supported is an important part of effective leadership. Regular check-ins, open communication, and addressing concerns early can help build trust and prevent small issues from becoming larger ones.
Consistently following compliance requirements and established policies should be part of our daily practice—not something we focus on only when a visit is scheduled. Staying organized, maintaining accurate documentation, and communicating proactively help ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
