I've learned that the punishment for an offender should match the frequency and severity of the offence, regardless of the sex of the offender. This, I believe, should serve as a deterrent to those individuals who are repeat offenders of "minor" offences. I'm a little dubious about some of these statement as I've been made aware of incidences that go unpunished, as the offence did not seem to rise to that of what is considered offensive enough to be given consideration by organizations. I'm glad I'm now getting more in-depth knowledge as this will give a better footing if I'm faced with any such incidence again.
