What Title IX, the Cleary ACT and WAVA entail, the Federal, State and individual Institutions regulations and requirements. The importance that every student and employee receive training and are made aware that there are resources and avenues of help and protection against sexual harassment, sexual violence and provide a safe campus environment. That sexual harassment includes a variety of topics across the board from stalking, sexual assault, harassment due to gender identification, protecting the rights of a pregnant student or employee as well as other topics. If sexual assault should occurr, I've learned the necessary step (by law) to be taken to protect the victim, provide resources making sure everything is notated, filed, reported to the proper authorities, entities while following Federal and state laws and regulations. The course is extensive and contains a large amount of information, which is needed to ensure the safety and protection of students and employees.
