As reviewing this section, I have learned, it is important to the institution and prospective students to provide accurate information. The school as a whole and all other entities tied to it must comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the U.S. Department of Education. It protects everyone involved and helps to build trust and integrity when there’s no misleading or inaccurate information being shared. Failure to comply holds a hefty fine of over $40,000 dollars. Requiring institutions to provide a pay sheet or a financial plan sheet is also something that I learned from this section. Before purchasing anything, it is important to know the facts and what you are getting yourself into and it helps relieve stress when it’s upfront and there’s options available to you.
