I learned the importance of creating a welcoming, student-centered environment right from the start. The module reinforced how crucial it is to listen actively, clarify expectations, and connect students’ goals with available resources. I intend to apply this by being more intentional in asking open-ended questions early in meetings, so students feel heard and supported before we move into requirements or next steps.
