Advisory Boards

I have to agree with Suzanne. Our school usually goes to our externship and internship sites where our students complete practicum hours. These are usually the potential employers for our graduates as well. Using your own alumni who are already working in the industry is another great approach. If you go to conferences you can meet people there who work in similar areas. For example, I am the distance education director at my school. By going to CAPPS and ABHES conferences I can meet people who work in the same positino at other schools. I can invite them to be a board member (DE specialist) on our advisory board meetings where online education is involved.
