Through this module, I learned that campus climate and culture play a critical role in shaping the experiences, engagement, and success of both students and institutional personnel. A positive campus climate is not created by policies alone; it is built through relationships, communication, trust, inclusivity, and a shared commitment to learning and growth. I also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of fostering strong working alliances between students and staff to support student achievement, persistence, and overall well-being.

As an Esthetics Instructor at Ogle School Stafford, I intend to apply these learnings by continuing to create a welcoming, supportive, and student-centered classroom environment. I will focus on building meaningful relationships with students, providing consistent feedback, and ensuring that all students feel seen, heard, and valued. I also plan to seek out more opportunities for student voice and input, encouraging students to take an active role in their learning experience and professional development.

Additionally, I will continue collaborating with colleagues and campus personnel to strengthen support systems for students and contribute positively to the overall campus culture. By intentionally fostering trust, belonging, and engagement, I can help create an environment where students are empowered to develop the confidence, skills, and professionalism needed to succeed in the esthetics industry.
