I learned that students may leave an e-learning program for several reasons, such as feeling disconnected, being overwhelmed by the workload, having competing personal responsibilities, or experiencing technical difficulties. As an online facilitator, it is important to recognize these challenges and take steps to support students. Building strong connections, maintaining clear communication, providing reasonable expectations, and helping students find technical support can all help reduce attrition and keep learners engaged in the course.
