Everyone has different learning preferences whether it's visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc. and instructors must adapt their teaching methodologies to accommodate the different learning styles.
In terms of assessment, it should be holistic, not just standardized tests in order to be able to recognize areas of opportunity and strengths for students.
