As an instructor and program lead, I want to make sure my students are prepared to walk from the classroom to the job office. We use an online based program to prep for job interviews, questions, resumes, cover letter, and applications. I plan to demonstrate how they can us AI to generate more complete responses to questions. Also, showing them how to generate a list of questions to help prep for the interview.
I not to familiar with AI but I learned of 3 new ones that can help the students. (Big Interview, Career prepped and Quinciaa) There platforms offer valuable resources and tools that help support the student.
I will write an assignment for my students to see how AI can enhance or at least change their approach to a job search.
I am now aware of more AI resources useful in career support.
Although I have a basic knowledge of AI and it's importance in resume/interview prep, I did learn about three different AI platforms that students/schools can use; Career Prepped, Quinciaa, and Big Interview. These three platforms all seem to provide great tools and resources relevant to career pathways.
I have learned that AI is a valuable tool to use when drafting emails, when creating resumes. I have also learned that you have to be careful with information shared online.
