I learned the importance of having clear procedures, expectations, and documentation in place for successful work based learning in place for successful work based learning experience. Strong organization and consistent follow ups are essential for creating positive and meaningful experiences.
This module showed me how important clear expectations and communication are in WBL. I plan to create stronger agreements and check-ins so students and employers stay aligned and supported.
Training agreements must be clear, consice and involve input from all parties.
I am reinforced in my belief that the training agreement is an essential and worthwhile component of any WBL internship or apprenticeship.
It is nice to know that there are lots of resources available that are already created to help build a successful WBL program.
I am grateful that the State of Michigan has completely developed paperwork for the WBL process.
