I was once told as a more right brain thinker that left brain activities should be modeled. Shadowing a left brain thinker was recommended. I recently turned down an engagement that I was not informed about well in advance and another committment, I got the organizer to meet with me another day though it was indicated it was mandatory training. When one cannot generate new ideas in writing it is probably due to needing a break from the task at hand. While away it is a good idea to do something enjoyed whether it is exercise, having breakfast or lunch with a friend, or getting together with a social group to do something fun.</p>

The comment that teachers are more coaches than gurus speaks to them having a facilitator role rather than being a master that knows all. Therefore one must be good at cultivating the student to be the best they can be and help them to leverage their strengths. I could also definitely relate to the change from the 1980's in classroom teaching to a virtual environment that is more "green" without paper.</p>

Why hire qualified staff and then expect them to do things exactly as you would? What a waste of human capital and innovation. Micromanagers&nbsp; have experienced also burning themselves out since this is another form of unwillingness to delegate. This is not good for the manager or employee.</p>

I also think that the assessment design should fit the person's learning style. Multiple choice tests for kinesthetic learners just do not work, since it has not allowed an opportunity to experience the learning. Sometimes our superiors are challenged with focusing on organizational goals that sometimes getting their attention to our IDLP goals is a challenge. I agree that it is important to visit both and ensure alignment.</p>

When one cannot generate new ideas in writing it is probably due to needing a break from the task at hand. While away it is a good idea to do something enjoyed whether it is exercise, having breakfast or lunch with a friend, or getting together with a social group to do something fun.</p>

The comment that teachers are more coaches than gurus speaks to them having a facilitator role rather than being a master that knows all. I could also definitely relate to the change from the 1980's in classroom teaching to a virtual environment that is more "green" without paper.</p>

Why hire qualified staff and then expect them to do things exactly as you would? What a waste of human capital and innovation. Micromanagers&nbsp; have experienced also burning themselves out since this is another form of unwillingness to delegate. This is not good for the manager or employee.</p>

I also think that the assessment design should fit the person's learning style. Multiple choice tests for kinesthetic learners just do not work, since it has not allowed an opportunity to experience the learning. Sometimes our superiors are challenged with focusing on organizational goals that sometimes getting their attention to our IDLP goals is a challenge. I agree that it is important to visit both and ensure alignment.</p>
