Much of this I already knew, but I appreciated the refresher.

I appreciated all of the resources, I was not aware there were so many, those tools can be beneficial.

I was surprised by the high rate of unemployment and to discover that most worked part-time.  It is very naive to think that, but while I perceived that it would be difficult to find employment, I thought - particularly here in the US - that we were addressing these issues much better than we apparently do.

I appreciated every section of this learning chapter and I can see myself going back to use this as a referral.

I appreciated the explanation that accommodations are not designed for student success, but for student access.  Big distinction that I believe students miss.

I had not realized that there are the least number of legal protections for LGBTQ individuals.  Very disappointed but sadly not very surprising.

I liked the review of mentors reflecting the mentee and what the benefits can be.  Otherwise at this point I am still feeling like this is a review.

Thankfully, these are already areas I know about, I am interested in the next section and the responses to these situations.

This is my first introduction into this topic and I have enjoyed reading every section and found all information to be very helpful.

I really appreciated the honest breakdown on discrimination from employers, why they exist, how they are enforced, and the beginning of the explanation on how to prepare students for the pushback.  Great section so far.
