how can i control the time management or how can i structure class time as a general outline for how i should manage a class from beggining to ending a lecture and project? discussion>? questions? or how to get them to apply what they just reviewed and being able to interpret it hands on?

how can i use these techniques to become a better instructor? how or what can others advice for a new instructor when they ask a question where i might be doubtfull of my response or dont quiet know how to complete explain or even answer a questiont they may have? 

I recently applied some of these techniques in my first lecture class. i found different times to give certain students who were distracted a chance to answer a question that i knew they would be able to answer. I notice they were asking someone else to explain it to them, so i called on them and asked them a simple questions and elaborated with another follow up question to help them participate but also reinforce that they were able to answer what was being asked from them. i love the material i have learned from this module, it has prepared me for my first day of class, and i was able to apply some of these methods.

i have learned how to engage with young adult and adults who have different needs and different perspectives and motives of attending class. I have applied and will keep applying some of the advice i learned from here of how to get a student to engage or involve or keep them interested. By calling on specific students to answer certain questions and getting them involve in a way that nurtures them instead of exposing them. i learned that no one wants to be embarrased or put on the hot seat. i also have learned that by learning the strengths or… >>>
